Update – Community Centre Phased Re-Opening

We trust that during the last few months with the daily challenges and changes to our lives, that this correspondence finds you and your families safe and well.  I’m sure like us you have missed immensely the routine of community life and the past normality of meeting friends, family, and day to day life prior to Covid-19.

We are all finding ways to resume to some form of new normality, and with this in mind and with the current Government Guidelines, we are delighted that we at the community centre and CMT are working hard to put in place a phased re-opening plan to the centre.  We are currently working behind closed doors, implementing all the safety measures and restrictions required to make our facility safe for our staff and hirers.

Please be assured that we are looking at how we can enable hirers to return following the controlled measures and limitations set out by the government guidance, which are somewhat challenging.  Unfortunately it may be some time before we are fully operational again and trust that we can work together to enable a smooth transition.

We are initially making contact with all our regular hirers to co-ordinate this phased return over the coming weeks / months.

Unfortunately, due to the occupancy restrictions and the management of our phased return, at this stage we are unable to honour any one-off private party or events that are booked for the coming weeks / months.  If you  have an upcoming booking or a party which we have not been able to accommodate or guarantee for future, a member of staff will be in touch in due course, to make arrangements for a full refund of your booking, or an alternative provisional booking at a later date.  No new party / event bookings will be taken for the rest of the year.  Any bookings for 2021 will be on a provisional basis only,  reviewed and confirmed if able to do so nearer the time.
