SMIRA Meeting – Monday 10th May

The next SMIRA meeting is scheduled for Monday 10th May at 8 pm via zoom.

If you have any questions for any of the Stakeholders, please send them to before 6pm on Thursday 6th May in order for them to be forwarded to the relevant parties and allowing them time to have answers ready for the meeting on the Monday.

John Tower has been a Director and SMIRA’s Secretary for over 2 years.  Due to a change in personal circumstances John will be stepping down so the position is open for any resident who may be interested working for a better life for all St. Mary’s Island residents.  In terms of the Secretary position, you don’t need to be a technological whizz but a basic understanding of Excel spreadsheets, how to navigate a website and send out bulk e-mails would be of help. Once the Covid restrictions are lifted and meeting indoors is allowed, John would be happy to provide a full hand-over of the processes involved and will always be available for support in the future.
