Join their next evening talk: In Conversation With … Rebecca Douglas on Thursday 6 August.
These  talks are FREE to attend (you do not need a Dockyard admission ticket), but spaces are limited. Tickets must be booked in advance.
Rebecca Douglas is a photographer, filmmaker, and President of the Board of Trustees at @whalewise. 
From rescuing an entangled humpback whale, humans and humpbacks singing together and encountering rarely seen Northern Bottlenose Whales, to snorkelling alongside seals, puffins and diving gannets,
Rebecca shares the moments of wonder, curiosity and connection that have shaped her relationship with the sea.
The talk will include the story behind her arresting ‘Hanging Gannet’ photograph, placing second in the Conservation (Impact) category of Ocean Photographer of the Year 2024, alongside reflections on how powerful imagery can reveal both the beauty of our ocean and the challenges it faces.
