Closure of HMS Chatham Bridge 24th to 28th August 2026

HMS Chatham Bridge will close for maintenance from 8 am on Monday 24th to 5 pm on Friday 28th August.  Diversion signs will be in situ directing all vehicles via Leviathan Way, Marina Bridge, Edgewater and Augustus Way. St. Mary’s Island bus stops will be temporarily suspended.  Arriva have confirmed that the 100 bus will be terminating and restarting services at The Range, Dockside Outlet Centre.

Pedestrian access on and off St. Mary’s Island will be maintained and the caisson footpath will remain accessible and is unaffected by the works.

These maintenance works are essential.  We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and patience during the period of works.
