Chatham Design Code – Have Your Say

If you live, work, study or visit Chatham then this is a chance to have your say on design proposals for the future of Chatham.  The survey closes at 11.59 pm on Wednesday 5th July 2023.

This code will provide a collection of design principles for the area, which could include things like specifying local building materials, maximum heights of buildings or deciding the layout of streets. Creating a design code will help ensure a sustainable future for the design of new buildings and spaces around Chatham’s town centre and assist in meeting the aim of the highest quality of regeneration. The code will also clearly set out what is expected of developers.
