Medway Tunnel Overnight Closure for maintenance

Medway Council has announced that the Medway Tunnel will be closed every night between Monday 2nd March and Saturday 7th March from 8pm to 5.45 am for routine maintenance such as:

Drainage and gully maintenance
➡️ Repairs to road surfaces
➡️ Servicing ventilation fans
➡️ Inspecting the gantries
➡️ Washing the tunnel walls
➡️ Maintenance to lighting

Medway Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks motorists for their patience.
