Wetwheels South East returns to Chatham Maritime

With support from Chatham Maritime Trust, Wetwheels South East will be returning to Chatham Maritime Marina twice during 2025.  Their first visit will take place from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th May and then again from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September.

Wetwheels South East provides disabled and disadvantaged people with a unique experience on the water making memories that they will treasure forever.

During their visit they will offer trips out to the Medway Estuary and to the Maunsell Forts.  The excursions to the Maunsell Forts will take place on Friday 9th May, Friday 19th September and Saturday 20th September.

In May the river experiences depart Chatham Maritime Marina at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm and the Fort experience at 6 pm.

In September the river experiences depart Chatham Maritime Marina at 10.30 am and 2 pm and the Fort experience at 5 pm.

The river experience lasts about 1.5 hours and the excursion to the Forts c. 2 hours depending on weather conditions.

This year Wetwheels has introduced a small fee of £5 per person or £60 private charter of the whole boat to deter no shows.
