The annual rentcharge invoices for the period 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021 have been mailed to all St. Mary’s Island properties. The increase in accordance with the Retail All Items Index is 2.69% – the charge announced by the Office of National Statistics between January of the current year and January of the previous year. Full details of the rentcharge, calculation and appropriate information accompanies every invoice.
The rentcharge invoices fall due for payment on 1st April 2020 and should be paid within 21 days. Payment can be made by Direct Debit (single annual payment), online, cash, debit or credit card or cheque (post-dated cheques are not acceptable). If you do not have a direct debit payment set-up then fill in the form that has been sent with the invoice and return to the Trust office by Wednesday 11th March. The single annual payment will be taken on Monday 1st April; you should allow 3 days for this payment to be debited from your account.
It is important that you state your Chargepayer Reference Number with any payment so that it can be allocated to the correct account. This can be found on the invoice.
