Revetment Works along Riverside Walk
F M Conway will be carrying out revetment works along the Riverside Walk starting Monday 17th March. Scaffolding and other preparatory works start today, Thursday 13th March. The work will take place in front of Cheldoc Rise; the area will remain open for access but will have scaffolding around it so visitors in that area should be vigilant.
Works should be completed within two weeks.
What is a revetment? This is a retaining wall along the river embankment which protects from erosion.
