Play Parks remain closed

The three play parks on St. Mary’s Island remain closed in line with Government guidelines.

Unfortunately even though the gates have been closed and locked there have been a number of instances where kids have climbed over the fence to use them.

This is a breach of Government guidelines and during this closure period Chatham Maritime Trust is taking the opportunity to clean and address repairs and general maintenance of these areas so that they can be ready for when it is safe to reopen.

We would ask visitors and residents to remind their children not to use the areas until they are reopened.
