Medway Council Reports Final Phase of Construction Work

Medway Council reports:

To allow final works to take place safely, the lane closure through the Medway Tunnel will remain in place, with the lane immediately adjacent to the central reservation along Berwick Way, northbound, also closed to traffic.

From Monday, 4 April, Southbound Berwick Way will also be reduced to a single lane (towards the Medway Tunnel) during off peak hours only (between 9:30am through to 3pm).

These arrangements will continue through to the completion of the works on Thursday, 14 April. All traffic management (including that currently in place through the Medway Tunnel) will be removed in time for Easter (by Friday, 15 April).
