Food & Drink Festival 25th to 27th May 2019

It’s not long now until Chatham Maritime Trust’s biggest event of the year – the annual Food & Drink Festival which takes place over three days from Saturday 25th to Bank Holiday Monday 27th May.

This is a FREE family event that takes place alongside Basin 2 at Chatham Maritime.  There will be a whole range of food producers there to tempt your taste buds and live music from local bands as well as other entertainment – something for everyone.

The highlight of the 3-day event is the Dragonboat Challenge, organized by Medway Sunlight Rotary Club, that takes place on Sunday 26th May.  This raises money for charities and good causes.  Teams arrive c. 9am, the races start at 10.30 am and the last race at about 4 pm.  The medals and trophies are awarded to the winners at 4.30 pm.
