Wigmore Lecture – Witches & Trials in Kent

Were there really witches in Kent in the Middle Ages?  If so, who were they, what did they do and what happened to those that were caught?  Where were the hotspots of witchcraft in Kent: Faversham, Maidstone or Gillingham?

This talk will reveal their stories as well as dispelling some myths.  Suzanne Corbie is a well-known speaker and lecturer in folklore and the history of witchcraft and ancient religions.
