Wigmore Lecture On Tour: Ian Porter: Women & The Home Front in WWI

This is a talk about how women lived during the Great War.  From women’s work in munitions, food shortages and rationing to leisure,  entertainment and women’s football.  From a Spanish Flu pandemic to the sudden end of the war and the start of the Save The Children charity.

This talk takes place at Twydall Library, 14/15 Twydall Green, Gillingham ME8 6JY  at 8 pm.
