Wigmore Lecture – Now You See It Now You Don’t

This Wigmore Lecture takes an in-depth look into the mystery of perception and the art of visual deception.  For centuries, artists have used  illusions and the stretching and distorting of perspective to delight and astound, just as magic tricks do.  There’s a primal enjoyment in being deceived by optical illusions, seeing things which are not there, yet are there. This lecture takes place at Wigmore Library, 208 Fairview Avenue, Wigmore, Gillingham ME8 0PX on Wednesday 15th January at 8 pm.
