Wigmore Lecture: John Agard & Crosspath Theatre Co.: Pushkin’s Half Hour

Caribbean-British poet John Agard retells the story of Eugene Onegin in this theatrical homage to mixed race Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin.  This is an entertaining romp with live music and song in which Agard takes on all the parts, not just the narrator Pushkin and his alter ego Onegin, but love interest Tatyana and the nursemaid, Filipevna.

This takes place at Wigmore Library as part of the Wigmore Lectures Programme.  Tickets can be booked at any Medway library or by calling 01634 337799.  This can be part of a seasonal ticket for £20 for the series of lectures or an individual cost of £4 for each talk.
