Water Savvy Day at Bewl Water Lamberhurst

Kent Fire & Rescue Water Savvy Fun Day takes place at Bewl Water, near Lamberhurst on Sunday 23rd June and is a free fun family day out.
The event runs from 11 am to 4 pm; an event where you can see firefights in live water rescue displays.
There will be live water rescue demonstrations and a chance to meet Splashpals Newfoundland Dogs as well as watch water safety displays by the Royal National Lifeboat Institition (RNLI), Kent Search & Rescue (KSAR) and Kent Police’s Search & Marine Unit.
There will also be opportunities to learn life saving skills, such as CPR for adults and babies, and how to use a throw line.
This event provides a glimpse into the fire services’ water rescue capabilities and the chance to learn really important lifesaving skills.
There will be face painting and a fancy dress competition – something for everyone!
