The Knife Angel at Rochester Cathedral

The Knife Angel is now on display at Rochester Cathedral until the 29th September 2019.
This is a National Monument against violence and aggression and a powerful symbol of the dangers of carrying knives. It is a collaboration between the Home Office, 43 UK Police Constabularies, families of victims and the British Ironwork Centre creating this amazing piece with over 100,000 blunted and seized blades. It has toured many cathedrals to raise awareness of knife crime which has now become a national crisis.
The Knife Angel stands 8m tall and is located in the Cathedral’s gardens; entry is FREE.
