The Historic Dockyard Chatham introduces new photography workshops for 2020
February 15 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Historic Dockyard Chatham is introducing three photography workshops in 2020 and the first one of these is Architecture Photography Workshop which takes place on Saturday 15th February.
The new workshop provides an exclusive, first-time, opportunity to go behind the scenes and get under the skin of the Dockyard’s historic architecture on a special guided photography experience. This is led by an experienced local photographer, Louise Hubbard, and she will guide you how to capture the best architectural photographs with subjects ranging from Victorian buildings to historic warships. Medway has a rich military history and it’s great that photographers can take inspiration from this.
Each workshop includes the following but you’ll need to be quick as places are limited – only 10 spaces per workshop:
- 5-hour photography workshop (runs from 10 am to 3 pm)
- Expert, small group, tuition from Louise Hubbard
- entry to the Historic Dockyard Chatham
- Lunch (one main meal and one drink)
All levels of experience and knowledge of photography is welcomed with any type of camera – top of the range DSLR or a phone. Attendees must be over 18 years of age and it should be noted that some locations are only accessible by stairs and there are some areas with uneven surfaces so comfortable shoes are a must!
The photographer has the authority to turn people away should they engage in any inappropriate behaviour whilst in the workshop.
The cost of the workshop is £100; this does include a Dockyard day ticket to explore the area after the workshop. To find out more and to book a place click here.
