St. Mary’s Island Youth Club

The Youth Club meets this evening at S. Mary’s Island Community Centre from 7 pm to 9 pm.
As well as the normal activities the Club has arranged for a specialist ‘Street and Line Dance’ instructor to attend so those wishing to participate should wear suitable clothing or take it with them. this was held about six months ago and proved such a success that the Club was asked to repeat it.
The Club has built up a team of young volunteers who attend regularly and some of whom are using the Club to carry out their Community Module of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The Club is delighted to host them and they make a great contribution to the Club. In this connection a member of the MYTrust, to whom the Club is affiliated, is visiting to talk about the Achievement Award for which they could get nominated.
Members are reminded about the Club’s rules which they signed up to when joining and should remember to take their Membership Cards with them. As soon as formal registration has been completed, the fun can begin!
