St. Mary’s Island History Group Meeting

The St. Mary’s Island History Group meeting takes place in the Community Centre at 7.30 pm. The guest speaker for this event is Peter Haddock speaking about “A copper in Chatham Dockyard of the 1960s”.
For £2 visitors are welcome. The History Group has maintained its annual subscriptions at £10 but it is now asking £1 per person for all refreshments. Members are kept up-to-date through the group’s newsletter and website and they are currently working on a Facebook page.
