Rochester to host HSBC UK / National Circuit Championship

Britain’s top cyclists will be competing in Rochester in the HSBC UK / National Circuit Championships.
The nation’s best cyclists will be racing along Rochester’s cobbled streets and past historic sights to compete for the title of national champion. The riders will race on a looping 1.6km course around the heart of Rochester, starting and finishing on The Esplanade.
The exact course for this event and timings will be revealed nearer the event. The championship is one of the highlights of the road racing calendar and always proves a huge draw for spectators. Medway has a strong link to cycling having hosted a stage of the Tour de France in 2007.
The elite women’s race will be at 5 pm and the men’s race at 6.30 pm. The elite races will bring the event to a close.
