Medway Talk – Beyond the Tarmac: How roads can be routes to biodiversity

Deborah Sims

Deborah Sims is a Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering and a Chartered Engineer with over 25 years experience  of highway design, safety engineering, team leadership and project management.

This talk will explore the opportunities for sustainability, enhancing biodiversity and improving habitats of flora and fauna along highway verges.

The talk is open to all and runs from 6 to 7 pm and is held in the Pilkington Theatre (PK008) in the Pilkington building.   It is FREE to attend though registration is required.  FREE car parking is available in the Drill Hall Library car park.
