Medway Rapture Gaming & Creative Festival

This takes place on the 3rd and 4th July in the Historic Dockyard Chatham.
The weekend family-fun festival, which is being supported by a multitude of stakeholders, will have something for everyone – from gaming pros to novices. There will be plenty of gaming fun and interactive exhibitions for people of all ages to get involved in, including children, families and students.
Medway’s gaming festival has a real-life submarine taking centre stage for a murder mystery activity – more to be revealed! This forms just a snippet of one of the three core shows taking place at Medway Rapture Gaming and Creative Festival:
- Medway Rapture – traditional gaming event with plenty for gamers and families to do at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
- Medway Creative – an exciting creative arts, science, engineering, technology and videogames creation event with diverse and engaging content and activities at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
- Medway E-Sports – local university students and military teams will battle it out in virtual sporting events.
There will also be guest speaker talks and workshops for those wanting to learn more about the gaming and digital industry, as well as Medway’s four universities and MidKent College showcasing what they have to offer to our aspiring young people.
Tickets are £15 for a single day ticket and £28 for a single weekend ticket, with group savings on offer.
Tickets to the Rapture Gaming Festival provide access to all areas of the festival as well as a selection of The Historic Dockyard galleries and spaces (No.1 Smithery, No.3 Slip and the RNLI gallery). Please note HMS Cavalier, HMS Gannet, HM Submarine Ocelot and The Ropery will be closed during the festival.
