Living River – History of Rochester Oyster Floating Fisheries

Living River Foundation has joined forces with Jetstream Tours to bring a unique series of cruises on the River Medway, with talks from local historians, wildlife experts and conservationists.
A three hour evening cruise with local food and bar on board, joined by local and prominent speakers. A chance to hear the history of the wildlife and cultural importance of the Medway Estuary. In this informal setting visitors will be able to ask questions and get a full insight to the topic. The topic for this cruise is History of Rochester Oyster Floating Fisheries presented by Richard Turner of ROFF.
The cruise takes place on Friday 16th August and pick-up is at Rochester Pier at 18.00, book through Jetstream Tours.
