HMS Medway sails into Basin 2, Chatham Maritime

HMS Medway sails into Basin 2 on Wednesday 18th September and will remain there until the vessel departs on Monday 23rd September.
On Saturday 21st September the ship’s company will be involved in a Freedom Parade through Chatham from 11 am. The parade will start in Church Street, off Chatham High Street, and will be led by the Royal Marine Band. They will march to Gun Wharf (the home of Medway Council) and salute as they pass before making their way to The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
On Sunday 22nd September the vessel will be open to visitors from 10 am to 3.30 pm. If you wish to go on board then tickets can be purchased online via the website www.eventbrite.co.uk from Tuesday 17th September.
HMS Medway will leve Chatham Maritime on Monday 23rd Sepember for front-line training ready for deployment overseas.
