Heritage Open Day – Huguenot Museum & French Hospital
September 14 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Explore the Huguenot Museum for FREE and discover the story of the Huguenots as part of this free national festival.
One in six English people may be descended from the Huguenots. Volunteers will be on hand to talk about their family history research service.
Their sister charity, the French Hospital will also be open, a bit further down on Rochester High Street offering the chance to explore the Huguenots’ Gardens in its grounds. The French Hospital was founded in 1718 in London to support Huguenots in need and moved to Rochester in 1959.
Last entry for the Museum is 4.15 pm.
The Huguenot Museum is located at 95 High Street, Rochester ME1 1LX.
