Great British Spring Clean Up

It’s time for the Great British spring Clean. Residents are being encouraged to keep Medway clean and tidy as part of a national campaign.
Medway Council is supporting the Great British Spring Clean – the country’s biggest-ever community clear up led by Keep Britain Tidy.
There will be 13 litter picks across Medway for residents to participate in.
On Saturday 21st March there will be a community clear up at the Great Lines, Gillingham. The meeting point is the war memorial in Kings Bastion at 8.45 am for a 9 am start.
Details of other community clean ups can be found on Medway Council’s website. Anyone who would like to take part should email the Council’s community Team with their name, contact details and the litter pick they would like to attend; details on the Great British Spring Clean page.
