Free Family Day Out at Cozenton Park, Rainham

A FREE family event to celebrate living in Medway; this is one of the Focus On events organised by Medway Council. This takes place on Saturday 18th May from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Visitors can watch top class in-line skating, scooter, skateboard and BMX demonstrations and get involved in coaching and competitions with Team Extreme. People of all ages can also have-a-go with balance bikes and mountain bikes with Action Wheels. There will be a flower fair with stalls offering a range of plants, flowers, garden necessities and ornaments. The popular climbing wall returns this year and there will be live music from the bandstand.
The Strolling Gardeners twin brothers Bob and Tom will be out and about across the park greeting visitors. On their travels they will help the balding to sprout hair, help children bloom and treat others to a ‘fun filled five a day’. The big Top Hullabaloo will be there where you can test your uni-cycling skills; plus there will be circus workshops including tightrope walking and juggling. There will also be live circus shows and crafts.
This is a chance for local residents to enjoy a fun filled day and celebrate their local community.
Parking on site £5 (limited spaces available) at the Birling Avenue car park. Parking will be aimed primarily at blue badge holders. The area is also served by Arriva buses 116 and 132.
