Digital Camp for 11-16 yr olds

2 days of introductory activities making VR, AR, 360 film and SFX to develop new skills in creative technology and storytelling.

About this Event

Entertain the kids this February half term, exploring virtual reality(VR), 360 film and sound effects, helping develop new skills in creative technology and storytelling.

Digital Camp is a 2-day workshop designed to get children and young people aged 11-16 connected with arts and culture in a hands-on way. No experience or equipment required.

This camp is on 13 and 14 February 2024. Each day will offer different activities for your child and will run from 9.30am-4pm.

It is run by Electric Medway in partnership with Screen South, and is part of our Young Hack learning programme. The collective teams of trained and experienced tutors will be on hand to keep your child safe, engaged, and creative.

The event will be hosted on The Historic Dockyard Chatham at the Centre for Music and Audio Technology (University of Kent) in The Clocktower Building.

At the beginning of each day (9.30am) we will meet parents at the Visitor Entrance of The Dockyard.

Children are asked to take their own lunch.

After booking you will receive an email with a link to fill out a short registration form prior to your child/children attending.

There will be another event held in April.

Spaces are limited and early booking is recommended.
