Charity Dragon Boat Challenge

The highlight of the 3-day Chatham Maritime Food & Drink Festival is the Dragon Boat Challenge that takes place on the Sunday 26th May organized by Medway Sunlight Rotary Club. This is a great family event; a fantastic spectacle for visitors as well as being enormous fun for the teams taking part. The event takes place alongside Basin 2.

As this is a charity event each team is asked to raise a minimum of £250 in partnership and you can, if you wish, donate half of what you raise to a charity of your choice.

Monies from this event foes to Rotary supported charities including the Rotary Children’s Hospice Holidays – a wonderful opportunity for children with life-threatening conditions from Ellenor and other Children’s Hospices to create life long memories with their families at EuroDisney.
