Residents in those roads should have received a letter from Medway Council detailing the works. The repair works to the highway are due to be carried out by Volker Highways Ltd on behalf of Medway Council. It is estimated that the works will take 8 weeks to complete and will be carried out between the hours of 08.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday. Residents should refer to on-street notice boards for specific dates of works in each road. Access to pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Should anyone need advice on the day of works then refer to an operative who will refer you to the on-site supervisor.
Works on Sectors 9 and 14 to follow. It is anticipated that work on all sectors should be completed by 30th September 2018. Any issues should be referred to the Highway Adoption Team at Medway Council on 01634 333333.
Sectors 10, 11, 13, 15 and 16 which are currently under construction by Countryside will be adopted in a much quicker process.
Please note that any issues with roads, pavements and street lighting (lamp number required) in these adopted areas should be reported directly to the Highways team at Medway Council on 01634 333333.
