We are once again looking for keen amateur photographers to impress us with their photos of life in Chatham Maritime.

You can enter as many photos in as many categories as you like. Entries need to be submitted by midnight on Friday 29th September 2017, and full terms and conditions are set out below.

The photo competition is being organised by the Chatham Maritime Trust (CMT). Entrants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
The competition is free to enter and is open to all residents and commercial occupiers of the Chatham Maritime estate including users of the Community Centre.
Entrants must not be professional photographers. For the purposes of this competition, a professionalphotographer will be considered to be someone who earns more than 20% of their income from the sale of their photographs.
The closing date for submissions is midnight on 29th September 2017 and any submissions received after this time will not be considered for the competition.
Entries must be digital images submitted as JPEG files size no less than 1mb @ 300 dpi. Photographs that do not meet this quality will not be considered.
Prize winners will be announced on the new CMT website (WWW.CMTRUST.co.uk)
Prizes to the value advertised will be presented in the form Vouches and or activity to the winning submission.
If CMT is unable to contact winners after reasonable attempts have been made, we reserve the right to offer the prize to a runner-up.
The copyright of the entire image must belong to the entrant.
Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit. By entering the competition, all entrants grant to the CMT the right to publish and exhibit their photographs at the awards event and to use the image(s) in any of our publicity, including, but not limited to, our magazine, marketing materials,newsletters, posters, and on our website. Entries may also be retained and used for the CMT’s photo library. No fees will be payable for any of the above uses.
Judges appointed by CMT (Board of Trustees)will choose the winners. CMT’s decision on all matters relating to thecompetition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the competition’s judging andorganisation.
CMT reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control. Any breach of these terms by an entrant will void their entry. CMT reserve the right to request the return of a prize if, at a later date, the entrant has been discovered to be in breach of these terms.
