Responsibilities
The Trust’s responsibilities on St Mary’s Island include:

The Lifting Bridge

The Dock Basin Edges

The Flood Defence Wall (majority)

The Riverside Walk (majority)

The Parks (Finsborough Down, and the East & West Chains)

Tadpoles Play Area (Restharrow Way)

The Millennium Sculpture
Roads & Verges

The Trust is not responsible for the Island roads or roadside verges, which remain the responsibility of the relevant housebuilder pending adoption by Medway Council
Play Areas

The Trust is not yet responsible for the Shark Park (off the Central Walkway) or the (unnamed) play area at the end of Bradfords Close. These are presently the responsibility of Countryside Maritime Ltd and Barratts, respectively.

A further play area is due to be built at the end of The Avenue, and there is likely to be one more play area built when the western side of the Island is built out.
Community Centre

The Trust is not yet responsible for the
Community Centre

. The Centre is presently the responsibility of Countryside Maritime Ltd, and is managed by Moat Housing.
